IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO NEFPA MEMBERS WHO ARE ALSO MEMBERS OF NALA

If you are a member of NALA and will be unable to attend the Annual Convention this summer in Oklahoma City, please feel free to use the attached NALA Proxy Designations form to designate our NALA Liaison, Cindy Houston, CLA, as your proxy holder for the elections and other voting that will occur during NALA's annual meeting on August 1.

Proposed amendments to the NALA Bylaws will be voted upon, including changes affecting the voting rights of NALA members and the operation of a major committee of NALA. Details about the Bylaws change proposals may be found on the NALA website Members Notice page at http://www.nala.org/MbrNotices.htm.

The method of electing NALA members to the Board of Directors is a significant question to be voted upon at the NALA Annual Meeting, and NALA is encouraging its members to educate themselves about the proposals and to give careful and thoughtful consideration to the recommendations.

Cindy Houston will be representing NEFPA in all respects with respect to our affiliate matters, and she will be happy to cast your vote if you choose to exercise the right of Proxy Designation.
