SPEAKER: Erin Wolfson, Assistant State Attorney;Division Chief (SVU) & Human Trafficking, Homicide Attorney State Attorney's Office, 4th Circuit
TOPIC: Human Trafficking

Erin Wolfson has been with the office since September 2008 and worked in a variety of areas, including the Homicide/Major Crimes division. She spent the majority of her career in the Special Assault Division focusing on the prosecution of domestic violence, sexual assault offenses and crimes against children. In 2016, she was assigned to the Sexual Assault Kit Initiative (SAKI) where her work focused solely on the investigation and prosecution of the 4th Judicial Circuit’s untested rape kits. As part of this initiative, Erin attended numerous trainings and workshops on best practices and policies regarding trauma-informed and victim-centered prosecution. Currently, Erin is assigned to the newly-formed Human Rights Division where she works solely on human trafficking cases,not only as an ASA for the State of Florida, but also as a Special Assistant United States Attorney for the Jacksonville Division of the United States Attorney’s Office, Middle District of Florida.
