Please join us for a CLE that will review what defamation is, common defenses, and a key 1st Amendment case that has affected the outcome of these cases.

Edward L. Birk is a First Amendment attorney, representing and defending news organizations in all aspects of newsgathering, publishing, and broadcasting, including source development, pre-publication review, compelling access to courts and public records, and defending against defamation claims. He also represents bloggers and anyone interested in the First Amendment or who are threatened with defamation lawsuits.
